Leeches
a full length play of absurdist drama

Eviction court is a no man’s land;

tenants’ rights are crushed under landlord’s command,

and social workers (can) do little to offer a hand,

but there are some who refuse to idly stand.

Leeches by Adrian Enzastiga made its debut in a staged reading at the 2024 Iowa New Play Festival.

Flashes by Adrian Enzastiga will make its production debut at The University of Iowa's Gallery Series in October 2024 (Dir. Michael C. Flores).

Drag Queens in Shapewear

Drag'daLore
a dragified musical of camp, fish, and sex; a Disney+ original series

In a world where nobody is born naked, aspiring drag queen Harriet Theal longs to be more than just a small-town unicorn farmer. But when she moves to the great city of Drag'daLore, she learns the devastating cost of artistic success in a commercial world. 

Drag'daLore by Adrian Enzastiga will receive its first developmental workshop reading on Sep. 16, 2024. Adrian recently started performing drag at local venues in Iowa City, IA and Omaha, NE for research purposes and no other reason.

Granted $2,800 to study drag and queer history in New York City in order to conduct research for new play

The Outcloset
A two-act musical

In a world where queer people are sent to an underground plague bunker when they come out, Twink finds himself in The Outcloset, where he discovers a new sense of his own identity and learns how to be queer in a heteronormative society. Narrated by four polyamorous muses in drag. 

The Outcloset, Adrian's first full-length play, is currently in development to be adapted into a musical with musician and composer Aden Murnane
